Bio CIBELE BUMBEL was born in Porto Alegre, State of Rio Grande do Sul, in 1989. She has lived most of her life in the South of Brazil and went to public school before earning a Federal Scholarship and moving to Serra Gaúcha, where she started Law School at Caxias do Sul University. On her 20th birthday, she entered into her first book contract and Rosas & outros contos [Roses and Other Short Stories], written between 2003 and 2008, was published by Editora Biblioteca 24x7 in São Paulo. The limited first print edition was enough for her to benefit from the Cultural Incentive Law to reach wider distribution among Brazilian youngsters and make her work available through the public school system. With the publication of her first book, she officially started using the pseudonym “Lady Baginski.” She continues to write—with several projects in the works— and hopes to publish other titles in Modern Literature. |
