It's that time of the month once again! Time to post a new contemporary Brazilian short story for you. 

Today we are featuring the work of Alex Andrade, who is making his second contribution to the CBSS project. We've selected "The Naked Girl," the heart-breaking story of a young girl who sells candy at the traffic light to bring some money home and help her mom.

Today we are featuring once again the work of author Vera Rossi. We selected "Last Time I Saw Helena" because of the words left unsaid, both in terms of us―the readers―trying to figure out what is being told between the lines, as well as the subject that the story characters are trying not to talk aabout.

Another 15 days went by in the blink of an eye and now it's time to bring you a new contemporary Brazilian short story once again. 

Today we are featuring the work of author, translator and interpreters Clarisse Bandeira de Mello. We selected "The Tulip Collector" because it depicts the life of a Brazilian immigrant as he reflects on his routine and the decisions he made to lead him to where he is now.
