Another 15 days went by in the blink of an eye and now it's time to bring you a new contemporary Brazilian short story once again. Today we have the pleasure of featuring once again the work of Bruna Mitrano, an author and school teacher who was featured by CBSS way back in our first edition in 2011.

This time around, we've selected "Dirt" because it depicts an unfortunate episode in the life of a seven-year-old girl, which is a sad and brutal reality to many children in the world.
