Another 15 days went by in the blink of an eye and now it's time to bring you a new contemporary Brazilian short story once again. Today we have the pleasure of featuring the work of Márcio Ezequiel, a Brazilian author who's just published his first independent chronicles collection.

We've selected "All About Beggars, Revolutions, and Shoes," which depicts a vivid reality in Brazil: Homeless people who knock from door to door on a daily basis asking for food or donations of anything they can use (clothes, shoes, blankets...) However, this story takes the perspective of the character making the donation.

We hope you enjoy Márcio's work and feel free to comment on it.
