Another 15 days went by and now it's time to bring you a new contemporary Brazilian short story once again. Today we have the pleasure to feature the work of Wilson Gorj, a writer and editor who has published two books so far, both containing short stories, besides contributing with several short-story collections.

We've selected "The Black Mulberry" for its simplicity and beauty. It provides a brief look into the life of two friends who, on a lazy day, decide to ditch school and go fishing on a nearby river. And that's when they try to reach the perfect black mulberry.

We hope you enjoy Wilson's work and feel free to comment on it.
