Our New Story is: "The Son of Ogoun" by Nina Mariçoba

posted Nov 1, 2014, 1:06 PM by Rafa Lombardino
Here we are once again to publish one more short story written by a contemporary Brazilian author. This time, we have the pleasure of featuring a story by Nina Maniçoba, a doctor and author who has three books under her belt and organizes an annual event to show appreciation for different forms of art.

We've selected The Son of Ogoun because it shows readers a side of Brazil that many seem to not know: the strong Brazilian community that follows the Yoruba religion and its orishas.

We hope you enjoy Nina's work and feel free to comment on it.
