Adélia Sanches


Adélia Sanches is a Dentistry student at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) in Rio de Janeiro. She has always been passionate about Medicine and Sciences and interested in reading and writing. She reads novels in both Portuguese in English to improve her language skills and she is also learning some German.

Inspired by Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle, she attempted to write a detective story when she was 15, but never intended to publish it. She is currently writing a short thriller when she has some time off from college.

Her first experiences as a translator came as a request from colleagues, who needed help understanding foreign medical texts they had to read for school. However, it was only after spending some time studying in England that she decided to learn more about the art of translations to become a professional of the future in the industry.
